I Have to Tell You a Story…
When I first met Tanya, she looked at me with eyes of possibility.
At the time, I was struggling to get my arms overhead. As a movement professional, it was incredibly frustrating. I wasn't cleared to do pull-ups or kettlebell get-ups—two movements I love to teach and perform.
I was doing all the "right" things. I had physiotherapy. I was working on my mobility. I was strengthening the area.
But my progress had hit a wall.
Then I had one session with Tanya.
She didn't just look at my shoulders. She looked at how my whole body was organizing itself. One of the first things she helped me do was reposition my rib cage.
And just like that...
My shoulders cleared.
I was able to move overhead again.
Since then, I've been back to doing pull-ups and kettlebell get-ups without restriction. I feel empowered.
